La plateforme réunit des chercheurs de 18 sociétés spécialisées suisses en biologie et échange avec les unions internationales. Elle s'engage pour la mise en réseau entre les différentes disciplines et pour la relève scientifique. Biology Community Roadmaps

The SCNAT coordinates and supports research communities to develop roadmaps for large research infrastructures in which the needs of the different scientific disciplines are collated. These community roadmaps are aimed at feeding into the Swiss Roadmap for Research Infrastructures, elaborated by SERI.

In 2021, the SCNAT published a first series of community roadmaps, including the biology community roadmap. On the basis of the community roadmaps 2021, SERI has released the 2023 Swiss roadmap for research infrastructures in 2023. In 2024, an update of these community roadmaps - including an update of the biology community roadmap - has been released that will feed into the 2027 Swiss roadmap of SERI.

Current status of the Roadmap process in general (December 2024)
