Call for Applications: 2025 “Swiss L’Oréal - UNESCO For Women in Science Award”

The Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW), the Swiss Commission for UNESCO and L'Oréal Switzerland jointly organize the 2025 Swiss L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Program.

This program recognizes and supports postdoctoral female researchers in Switzerland conducting exceptional work in STEM fields. For this first edition, 4 endowments of CHF 25,000 each will be awarded, totaling CHF 100,000.

Key Information:

  • Application Phase: 3rd February – 31st March 2025
  • Eligibility criteria : Applicants must be female researchers who have completed a PhD in eligible STEM fields and have no more than three years of postdoctoral experience, excluding career breaks. They must not hold or have been promised a permanent academic position and must conduct their research at a Swiss university or research institute, regardless of nationality.
